These checklists are made to ensure that volunteers learn all of the skills needed to help users with VCN resources. While you are completing the checklist, see help or the volunteer manual to learn the skills listed below. If you don’t understand a checklist item, ask any volunteer.
Once you have completed and experienced each checklist item, discuss it with a mentor. You are now also available to new volunteers as a mentor. You will know that you have completed this checklist when you have actually done each item and can teach these skills to others using the resources available at VCN.
